As a devoted wife since 1989 and mother since 1991, I know how busy a woman’s life can be. My family devotion led me to seek work-at-home opportunities. Below is my story.
UPWORK FREELANCE VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
October 2014 – Present
By working as a freelance virtual assistant on Upwork, I am able to make the lives of other busy women easier by helping them run their day-to-day business activities. That’s why I’m called the woman behind the woman. Working from home allows me to get more work accomplished since I am not spending time commuting to and from an office. My most distinguished VA duties include: transcription, data entry, proofreading, light editing, writing blog articles and web content, uploading YouTube videos and occasionally uploading blog posts. I have also converted Word documents to PDF and PDF documents to Word using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Drive features.

There, you can see my rating as a virtual assistant, Upwork test scores and other business related information. My regular business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. eastern time Monday – Friday. I work on an hourly basis for large jobs as well as for a fixed rate payment for smaller jobs.
PATTERNMART VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
July 2007 – December 2015
Working as a virtual assistant on PatternMart allowed me to exercise my skills as a personal assistant while I finished raising two sons. My work consisted mostly of customer and seller email support, troubleshooting problems for customers and sellers, converting Word documents to PDF documents for the sellers on the website, updating and emailing the weekly newsletter as well as compiling the advertising for the website and newsletter.
